We are here to help residents of Central Bedfordshire to find the best free advice on a wide range of topics

Our free Wellbeing Hub at the Disability Resource Centre is open every week in Dunstable, offering warmth, connection, and practical support to anyone who needs it.
Whether you want to get out of the house, meet new people, pick up some useful advice, or simply enjoy a cup of tea in a friendly environment, our Wellbeing Hub is here for you.
Every Tuesday and Wednesday, 10am to 1pm. The Disability Resource Centre, Mayfield Road, Dunstable
No booking needed. Just turn up.
Our weekly sessions are designed to help local residents improve their wellbeing, connect with others in their community, and access practical support — all completely free of charge.
Each session includes:
Free tea, coffee and seasonal snacks in our newly refurbished café-style centre
Friendly wellbeing activities to keep your mind and body active
Practical advice and information on topics including managing energy costs, money-saving tips, and staying healthy
A warm, welcoming space where everyone is treated with kindness and respect
A chance to meet people and have a chat — because connection matters

Our Wellbeing Hub has become much more than a drop-in session—it has grown into a genuine community meeting point where people share experiences, learn from each other, and build friendships.
Here's what some of our visitors have told us:
"It made me feel good because I was able to get out and see people, as I mostly stay at home."
"Just being able to get out and see people — and it really helps that it's free."
"The staff have been very helpful and friendly."
"I'm improving my confidence through conversations and meeting new members."
"Undertaking activities so I can keep my mind active."
"It's great socialising and great information provided."
"Lovely and warm venue."
Our sessions provide simple, easy-to-implement advice that you can share with friends and family too. Many of our visitors have told us they've picked up money-saving techniques they never knew existed – and passed them on to the people around them, creating a real ripple effect of support across the community.
Our Wellbeing Hub is kindly funded by The Living Well Fund, a partnership between BLCF and Cadent. We're grateful for their support in making these free weekly sessions possible.

Come along — you're always welcome
There's no need to book, no referral required, and no charge. Just come along any Tuesday or Wednesday between 10am and 1pm.
We'd love to see you.
